Sales Director
 

Position Summary:

The Sales Director will develop and execute key sales growth strategies, tactics, and action plans required to achieve the Company’s financial goals. 

The Sales Director will play a critical role in developing new client business opportunities and driving teams to have transformational impact. Based on a strategic perspective, he/ she will design a business plan for their territory/division that is designed to grow existing and acquire new customers. The Sales Director will act as the main point of contact with customers and develop relationships at the highest levels of those organizations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Sales Executive who can leverage existing relationships and hunt new business.
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization to align the overall activities of the Company.
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts and results.
  • Develop and execute the Company’s strategic plan to achieve sales targets by expanding the customer base, and the thorough monitoring of backlogs, forecasts, pipeline process and stages.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, market trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Implements enabling technologies, including Sales force, to field sales teams for the purpose of managing the Company’s activities. Monitors the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining Sales force data.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Have full ownership of existing senior client relationships.
  • Effectively communicate the Company’s value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Must be available to travel for customer visits and work-related functions.
  • Ability to Identify New Areas of Opportunity by proposing New Product Development initiatives and budget proposals from a sales perspective with the collaboration of the Company’s Operations team.
  • Drive expansion into new markets; including proactive meetings and client pitches, proposal writing, pipeline management and deal closing.

Requirements & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years selling to all markets of Telco industries including, MSOs/Broadband, Datacom, Wireless and/or Satellite.
  • In-depth knowledge of existing and developing technologies in telecommunications,
  • Proven sales experience with consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the client’s organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Solid listening, negotiating and presentation skills.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Building a successful team and focusing on their personal development and leadership skills.
  • Continuous focus on operational excellence, proactively leading initiatives to achieve this and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Supporting general company management, such as recruitment direction setting and planning.

Business Development Director
 

Position Summary:

The Business Development Director will work to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth, define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

The primary role of the Business Development Director is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients in the MSO/Broadband, Datacom, Wireless and/or Satellite industries. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

The Business Development Director must generate a rapport with new clients and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.  The Business Development Director may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging existing networks.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
